Fees
As a Freelance Solicitor, I work alone with lower overheads than a traditional law practice, and therefore my fees are limited and there is no VAT to pay. The amount of work I can carry out, however, is limited by the fact I work alone. I will therefore only be able to take on your case if I have capacity for it.

Mediation £200/hr (£100 per party)

Please note that I reserve the right to charge additional hours for preparation if the mediation is considered by me to be complex, or if there is a significant amount of documentation to read. After initial discussions with both parties, I will be able to estimate how many hours are required – typically a half day or a full day will be set aside. Payment for the mediation must be made in advance.

Room hire is additional, but in some cases we may be able to mediate via zoom which will mean no extra cost.
